The Teacher Show
Sunday, June 28 at 7pm (Doors at 6:30pm)
$25 general admission. $20 for teachers, current and retired.
Have you ever worked in a school, studied in one, or dropped a kid off out front? Then this show is for you. The Teacher Show brings together a lineup of comedians who also happen to be educators, sharing their funniest lessons and hardest-won stories from the head of the class. Created and hosted by Don Gavitte, the show has been called a "solution for teacher burnout" by NPR and a "must-see" by Willamette Week. It plays Portland's Revolution Hall every November and has toured all across the Pacific Northwest.
This lineup features Don Gavitte, Todd Basil, and more!

Meet a few of the comics:
Don Gavitte has taught high school history for nearly 30 years and lives with his wife, kids, and pet rabbit in a little blue house. He has been doing stand-up since 2018, once earned $78 in tips at a bar show, and has performed at the Sixth City Comedy Festival and the Ha Ha Harvest Festival. He headlines and produces The Teacher Show, currently one of Willamette Week's "must-see" shows in Portland.
Todd Basil is a stand-up comedian and college calculus instructor who can make math funny without making you do any. He recently headlined the New South Comedy Festival and played Boise's Treefort Music Festival, and he fronts the synth-pop group Joy of Cooking Division. Find his one-minute podcast, "I. Drank. Too. Much. Coffee!", on Apple Podcasts.
