Missoula Children's Theatre Workshops

Get ready for three days of theatre magic! We're teaming up with Missoula Children's Theatre for a series of hands-on workshops where young performers can stretch their imaginations, build new skills, and have a blast on stage and behind it.

Each workshop runs 2:30–3:15 PM and is designed for students in grades 1–8. Sign up for one, two, or all three — they're $20 each.

Tuesday, June 23 · Improv Listening, creativity, bravery — all the skills a great improviser needs! In this workshop, students learn to act without a script through teamwork and "all-in" participation. No experience necessary — every young performer will shine.

Wednesday, June 24 · Behind the Scenes Actors tell the story, but so many people make the theatre magic happen before the curtain even rises! Students get a taste of the many artforms behind a great performance, exploring Costume Design, Set Design, Theatre Marketing, and Makeup Design.

Thursday, June 25 · Theatre Makeup Makeup is a powerful tool for bringing a character to life on stage. Through live demonstration, students discover Corrective, Character, and Special Effects techniques used in the theatre. (Please note: this is a theatre makeup workshop, not a face-painting experience.)
